FAQs
What is the dress code?
The dress code is event-specific so please see below. Most of our wedding events will be outdoors (weather permitting), and weather can be VERY unpredictable in upstate NY in late spring! Please plan to bring jackets or shawls if you get cold. The grounds are hilly and the paths are uneven, so wedges or block heels are recommended.
Welcome Drinks (Dressy Casual)
Below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, an elegant pantsuit or button-down shirt and slacks (no sneakers). Ties are not required.
Ceremony and Reception (Summer Formal)
Formal wear is a suit and tie or floor or mid-length dresses are requested. A tuxedo is not required.
Sunday Breakfast (Casual)
This will be a very casual gathering so please wear whatever you like!
Can I bring a plus one?
All invited guests will be indicated on the mailed save the date and wedding invitations.
Are kids invited?
We love your little ones as much as you do! However, our wedding is adults-only.
Can I drive and park at the venue?
Our venue has limited on-site parking availability. We encourage guests to take the wedding shuttle from the indicated hotels. But if you decide to drive, carpooling will be necessary. Remember Uber and Lyft do not serve the area, so if you are not taking the shuttle or driving yourself you need to set something up with a local taxi company.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 4:15PM. Please arrive early to allow time to park and find your seat.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We would like everyone to be in the moment and ask for all phones to be silenced and put away during the ceremony.
How and when should I RSVP?
Just click the RSVP tab on this website anytime after receiving the save the date or the wedding invitation and certainly by March 24th, 2025.
