Shuttle Information
For those staying at the Courtyard Marriott Lenox or Holiday Inn Pittsfield, shuttles will pick up at 3:40 PM on Saturday and depart for the venue. Shuttles will depart the wedding venue at 10:30 PM and 12:00 AM and drop off at both hotels.
Travel by Car
Our wedding destination is about two and a half hours by car from both NYC and Boston and six and a half hours from Washington D.C.
Getting There
Travel by Plane
The Ruins at Sassafras is accessible from Albany International Airport (45 minute drive) and Bradley International Airport (1 hour 20 minute drive).
Travel by Train
The Ruins at Sassafras is accessible from Hudson, New York (45 minute drive). You can arrange a taxi to and from the train station in Hudson.
You will need a car to explore the nearby towns and areas.
We want people to enjoy the wedding and not worry about driving. So, we encourage people to use the shuttles. For those who choose to drive, there is very limited parking at our wedding venue so please carpool.
Finally, you can prearrange pickup and drop-off with a local taxi company. Please note that Uber/Lyft do not operate in the area.
Getting Around
We have reserved room blocks at three hotels; the wedding shuttle will serve two of these - Courtyard Lenox and Holiday Inn and Suites Pittsfield Berkshires. Note that the shuttles will not serve Jiminy Peak.
